These Are My Final Wishes by Tamara Dunkel Perkins PDF Print E-mail

One of the hardest topics to discuss openly is death, and so we avoid putting down our final wishes until it's too late. What's left is for our love ones who are mourning our loss to try to figure out what's best. Wouldn't it be nice to relieve the ones we leave behind from this burden?

In These Are My Final Wishes, author Tamara Dunkel Perkins has compiled a work book to leave your family. She covers the basics with nine sections:

Section 1: Burial or Cremation
Section 2: Funeral Services and Showing
Section 3: Insurance and Financial Leftovers
Section 4: Obituary
Section 5: Personal Wishes and Thoughts
Section 6: Presenting Your Final Wishes To Your Wish Granter
Section 7: Final Wishes Party
Section 8: Do Not Fear the End…Embrace It
Section 9: Leftovers and Overflow

While it isn't just the elderly who should be taking care of these matters, no doubt it's her largest readership. And while I'm not that-that old, I appreciate the book's forty six spacious pages. The text is large bold, easy to read. In the back, you'll find extra pages if needed.

Another huge point I want to bring up is the book includes the most minor details, such as, nails manicure, tone of the service, what to include in the service, location of will – okay, maybe that isn't a minor detail. There's a place to state regrets, letters for loved ones as well as forgiveness requests. Tamara Dunkel Perkins leaves no subject untouched as she addresses the fear of dying and suggests reading "We Are Their Heaven" by Allison DuBois.

These Are My Final Wishes will make a sad, painful time a lot more bearable. Knowing the final wishes of a loved one before they pass away helps everyone involved. It can help assure that survivors are doing the best they can to grant the final wishes of someone they loved, while also helping them through the steps that must be taken following the passing of that loved one.

It's like no other I have seen on the market!

Until the next review,

Happy Reading!
