Edda Taylor escapes the nightmare of losing her lover by leaving Austria and moving to Carmel, California. She's inherited a rundown cottage, Ruby Rest, which is an eyesore on the outside. Inside tells a different story.

Tyler Oaks earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from California State University, Stanislaus and her Master of Arts in Spanish from California State University, Sacramento. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, Russia, and Israel, as well as having lived and worked in a castle in Austria.
